As a response to Susie Wolff announcing her retirement from motorsport in November 2015, I feel a bit sad, because I had been hoping to see a female racing in Formula One. However, I am a bit pleased with when she said about hoping that other women would think about taking part after seeing her performance in the sport, along with that she would attend the races as Toto Wolff's wife and a friend of Williams. Additionally, Lotus have Carmen Jordá as a development driver.

So with the good news, I will be hoping for females to compete in F1 in the 21st century.
