The Sauber C31 was a Formula One racing car built by Sauber for the 2012 Formula One Season. Driven by Mexican, Sergio Pérez and Japanese driver, Kamui Kobayashi, the car delivered 4 podium finishes from 20 races. This unexpected pace took Pérez to the three podiums which helped secure a move to McLaren, and took Kobayashi to third place in the Japanese Grand Prix - the first podium for a Japanese driver in 22 years at the circuit.
