The Renault R27 was a car designed by Renault for the 2007 Formula One season. The car was designed by Bob Bell, and the drivers of the 2007 season were Giancarlo Fisichella and newcomer Heikki Kovalainen.

PerformanceEdit

The R27 proved to be very reliable but uncompetitive compared to Ferrari, McLaren and BMW Sauber. Fisichella failed to score on the podium throughout the season, while Kovalainen managed the team's only podium finish at Japan. From the good reliability of the R27, Fisichella finished in 14 out of 17 races, and Kovalainen finished every race except Brazil.

The team slumped back to fourth in the Constructors' Championship with 51 points, marking the end of the French team's dominance.
