Marco Michael Andretti (born March 13, 1987 in Nazareth, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, United States) is an American racing driver who currently drives in the IndyCar Series. He is the son of Michael Andretti and the grandson of 1978 World Champion Mario Andretti.
Andretti tested for Honda in the 2007 pre-season (with their 2006 car), setting a time within two seconds of Jenson Button on a dry track and then getting within a second of two-time World Champion Fernando Alonso on a wet track the next day.
Andretti has stated that he would only attempt to enter Formula One once he has won the Indianapolis 500. In his 11 attempts at the 500, he has a second and three third places to show for his efforts. At this point there is a good chance that Formula One is not in his future.
