Not to be confused with Guenther Steiner, the ex-Team Principal of Haas
Günther Schneider was a German track worker who was killed during the 1963 German Grand Prix. Schneider, a 19-year-old German Red Cross volunteer, was struck by an errant wheel from Willy Mairesse's Ferrari 156 which had overturned at the Flugplatz section of the Nürburgring on lap 2 of the race.
