The Mercedes F1 W05 Hybrid was the fifth car built by the modern-day Mercedes Grand Prix team, designed for use in the 2014 Formula One season. It was Mercedes' first turbocharged F1 car, having been absent from the Formula One Championship during the previous Turbo eras.

The F1 W05 was driven by Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.

The car was dominant in the 2014 season, claiming 16 victories, 18 pole positions and leading the team to clear victories in both championships.

In November 2016, five-time motorcycle World Champion Jorge Lorenzo drove the F1 W05 Hybrid on the Silverstone Circuit.[1]
