Colombia is a country in northern South America. It is bordered by Venezuela, Brazil, Ecuador and Panama.

Formula One is among the most popular sports in Colombia, despite the country only producing three drivers and never having hosted a Grand Prix. Juan Pablo Montoya won seven races, and finished as high as third in the World Championship. Roberto Guerrero never scored any points in 21 Formula One starts, but won two CART races and finished second twice at the Indianapolis 500. Ricardo Londoño attempted to qualify for the 1981 Brazilian Grand Prix, but did not start.
