Chris Irwin (born 27 June 1942 in Wandsworth, London) is a British former racing driver. He participated in 10 Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, debuting on 16 July 1966. He scored two championship points, finishing fifth in the 1967 French Grand Prix at Le Mans.
Irwin's career was ended prematurely by an accident he sustained when driving a Ford P68 sports prototype during practice for the 1968 1000km Nürburgring endurance race. He lost control of the notoriously twitchy car at the Flugplatz, the P68 flipping end over end after landing on its tail following a jump. He suffered severe head injuries and never fully recovered, leaving him with burn scars and epilepsy. While able to drive, his injuries prevented him from racing again.
He lives in Devon, England.

Since his retirement, Irwin has avoided the limelight and lived quietly. But he did make an appearance at the 40th anniversary event at Thruxton Circuit in 2008, where he posed for pictures and gave interviews.
Irwin is reputed to be living in rural Rutland.
