Carl Nicholas Gaden (born 12 April 1964)[1] is a British Formula 1 engineer. Gaden started his career at Williams in 1988. Since 1992, he served as the team's chief mechanic, until 2014. In January 2015 he was promoted to the team's in-car system operator engineer.[2]

Gaden survived without serious injuries when at the 2002 Spanish Grand Prix, during a pit stop, Juan Pablo Montoya drove over his foot.[3]
