The Australian Grand Prix is a Formula One World Championship event that has been contested every year since 1985. The Grand Prix was hosted at Adelaide until 1996 when it moved to Albert Park. The Adelaide circuit was always the last round in the season, while Albert Park has always been the first round with the exception of 2006 and 2010. Melbourne got a new contract for the Grand Prix that would go into 2023.[1]
