Amaury Werner Ghislain François de Merode (October 3, 1902 - May 17, 1980) was a Belgian nobleman, and president of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). He was born into one of the most important houses of the Belgian nobility. He married Princess Marie-Claire de Croy (1907-2000) and had three children.

After being a Vice-President for many years, heading the FIA ​​Finance Committee for five years and running twice unsuccessfully for the post of President, Amaury was unanimously elected as the President of the FIA in 1971, taking over from Wilfred Andrews. He was succeeded by Paul Metternich in 1975 after stepping down for reasons of age.
