The 2005 Spanish Grand Prix (officially Gran Premio Marlboro de España) was race number 5 of the 2005 Formula One season. It took place at the Circuit de Catalunya on May 8, 2005. The race was won by McLaren-Mercedes driver Kimi Räikkönen with Fernando Alonso for Renault in second and Jarno Trulli of Toyota in third.
