The 2003 Australian Grand Prix (officially LXVIII Australian Grand Prix) was race number 1 of the 2003 Formula One Season. It took place at the Albert Park Circuit on March 9 2003. The race was won by McLaren-Mercedes driver David Coulthard with Juan Pablo Montoya for Williams-BMW in second and Kimi Räikkönen of McLaren-Mercedes in third.

It was Coulthard's last Formula One win.

BackgroundEdit

There was a lot of speculation about how the new set of rules that debuted in this race would affect Ferrari, which were the ones to cause the changes after their dominant 2002 season.
